Editorial policy
Editorial Standards
How we research, write, review and correct content about commercial equipment financing, including the claims we will not make and how to request a correction.
Written and maintained by the EquipmentLoan.com editorial team. No individual author is named on this page, because no verifiable person has been supplied to us.
In short: Our content explains commercial equipment financing in plain language and is written for U.S. business owners comparing options. We do not publish guarantees, rate claims, approval rates or invented statistics. Pages state their assumptions and dates, and we correct errors when they are found.
Who writes this content
Content is written and maintained by the EquipmentLoan.com editorial team. We name individual authors only when a real, verifiable person has written the page.
What we will not publish
We do not publish, and will not publish, any of the following:
- A promise or implication of guaranteed approval.
- A claim that financing is available with no credit check.
- A claim to offer the lowest rate, or the best rate.
- A claim of instant approval.
- A claim of bank-level security or any comparable security certification.
- A lender relationship, partnership, network size or partner count we cannot evidence.
- A customer testimonial, review or case study.
- A certification, licence number, NMLS ID or professional designation we do not hold.
- An approval rate, a funding-time range, a credit score cutoff, or a down payment range by borrower profile, unless it comes from a source we can name and link.
- A statistic we cannot trace to a primary source.
How we research
We explain mechanisms rather than quote numbers. Where a figure would normally appear — a rate, an approval time, a typical down payment — we explain what moves it instead, and we say plainly that we do not publish a figure because no defensible data set supports one.
Where we do use numbers, they fall into two categories only:
- Arithmetic on stated assumptions. Payment tables show a monthly payment, a total of payments and a finance cost calculated from an equipment price, an assumed rate and a term that are printed beside the table. These are labelled illustrative estimates, not quotes.
- Published regulatory or statutory figures with a primary source. For example, the annual Section 179 limits on our equipment tax deduction guide are cited to the Internal Revenue Service, with the source linked on the page.
Every page carrying numbers states its assumptions and the date the figures were prepared.
How we handle sources
Primary sources come first: the IRS for tax figures, statutes and regulators for disclosure requirements, and a provider's own written documentation for anything about that provider. Secondary commentary is used only for orientation, and if we cannot verify a figure against a primary source, we leave the figure out and say so on the page rather than repeating it.
Compliance rules our content follows
- We identify our role accurately: Ai Loan Brokerage LLC is a commercial financing intermediary and equipment loan broker, not a direct lender.
- We state that submitting a pre-qualification request is not an application decision and is not an approval, offer or commitment to lend.
- We state that approval, rates, terms and funding depend on the lender and on the borrower's qualifications.
- We state that our services are limited to business-to-business commercial financing and that we do not provide consumer loans, residential mortgages or personal lines of credit.
- We state that we do not collect Social Security numbers, bank login details, full tax IDs or documents on this website.
- We do not present marketing content as independently reviewed financial education. Educational pages are labelled as general information, and legal, tax and accounting questions are directed to the reader's own qualified adviser.
How often content is reviewed
Every page carries a published date. Pages are re-reviewed at least every twelve months and sooner when something material changes — a statutory limit, a disclosure requirement, or the way a financing structure commonly works. Where a page depends on a dated figure, the date is shown next to the figure.
Corrections policy
If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, out of date, misleading, or missing important context, tell us. We would rather fix it than defend it.
How to request a correction: email [email protected] or call 888-629-3416, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm ET. Include the page URL, the specific statement you are questioning, and what you believe the correct position is. You do not need to be a customer, and you do not need to explain why you are asking.
What happens next:
- We read the request and check the statement against its source.
- If it is wrong, we correct it and note the change on the page.
- If it is right but unclear, we rewrite it for clarity even where no factual error exists.
- If we believe the statement is correct, we tell you why and point to the source we relied on.
- If we cannot resolve it with you, we say so plainly rather than leaving the request unanswered.
We do not remove a correct statement because a provider or a business would prefer it absent. We do remove a statement we cannot support.
A note on what we cannot change: we cannot alter a financing provider's decision, its rates, its terms or its disclosures, and we cannot act as an intermediary in a dispute with a provider. Requests about a specific application should go to that provider.
Complaints
Complaints about our conduct, our content or a financing provider we introduced you to are handled through the same contact route above. If a complaint concerns a provider's own conduct, we will tell you how to raise it with that provider directly.

Page status. Published 2026-09-19. This policy is written and maintained by the EquipmentLoan.com editorial team. No individual author or external reviewer is named, because no verifiable person has been supplied to us. This page contains no original statistics.
Named author and reviewer: still required from the site owner
The ranking plan asks for an identifiable author and a qualified reviewer, each with their own profile page. Neither was supplied, so no individual is named anywhere on this site and no profile pages have been created. Publishing a name that has not been verified would put an unearned credential behind financial content, so the policy above stands on its own until the details below exist.
- [REQUIRED: author full legal name] — no verified person supplied
- [REQUIRED: author role, e.g. "commercial financing specialist"]
- [REQUIRED: one sentence of verifiable experience for the author]
- [REQUIRED: author photograph, with rights to use it]
- [REQUIRED: confirmed LinkedIn or equivalent professional profile for the author]
- [REQUIRED: reviewer full legal name] — no qualified reviewer supplied
- [REQUIRED: reviewer qualification that makes them competent to review this material]
- [REQUIRED: author and reviewer page slugs] — routes are withheld until real people exist
If no qualified reviewer exists, the correct action is to leave the reviewer unnamed — not to name someone who has not read the material. Contact us to supply these details.
