Information we collect

When you submit a pre-qualification request or a contact inquiry we collect the information you enter: your name, title, business email, business phone, preferred contact method, business legal name and DBA, industry, entity type, state, ZIP code, time in business, annual revenue band, intended use, the amount requested, equipment details and your self-reported credit band.

We do not ask for a Social Security number, bank login credentials, a full tax identification number or documents in the initial request. Please do not send those details through this website.

We also record non-personal context about your visit: the page you landed on, referring source, campaign parameters such as UTM values, an advertising click identifier if one is present, and an opaque first-party attribution identifier. This identifier is randomly generated and does not encode any personal information.

How we use your information

We use your information to review your pre-qualification request, contact you about it, and share it with financing providers and service partners who may be able to offer financing options. We also use it to maintain records of the consent you provided and to operate and secure this website.

Software is used to help read and normalize the equipment description you provide, for example to separate a year, manufacturer and model. That software does not approve, deny or price credit and is not used to make adverse-action decisions. A person reviews every request.

We do not collect or use protected-class information for credit matching.

How we share your information

Your request is transmitted from our server to our customer records system and to financing providers who may review it. The categories of recipients are: (1) equipment financing providers, lenders, lessors and funding sources reviewing your request; (2) our customer relationship management and records system; (3) hosting, database and application infrastructure providers that operate this website; (4) email and telephony providers used to contact you; and (5) professional advisors, auditors or authorities where disclosure is required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Financing providers and vendors receive your information to perform services connected to your request and are expected to use it for that purpose only.

We do not place your personal information in page URLs, analytics events, advertising pixels or application error logs.

Cookies and tracking

We set one essential first-party cookie that stores the opaque attribution identifier described above. It is marked SameSite=Lax, is served with the Secure flag over HTTPS, and has a documented lifespan of 90 days.

Analytics and advertising categories are switched off until you turn them on. No third-party analytics or advertising tag is loaded on this site at present; when one is added it will run only under the configured consent policy. You can change your choices at any time using the cookie preferences control on this page.

Consent records

When you submit a request we store the exact consent wording shown to you, its version identifier (currently 2026-08-prequal-v1) and the time you agreed. The current contact-consent wording reads: "I confirm the information provided is accurate and I acknowledge the EquipmentLoan.com Privacy Policy. I authorize EquipmentLoan.com and its financing partners to contact me at the phone number and email provided, including by automated calls or text messages, about my pre-qualification request. Consent is not a condition of any financing. Message and data rates may apply. This request is not an application decision and is not an approval, offer or commitment to lend."

Marketing consent is collected separately and is optional. Consent is not a condition of any financing. You can withdraw contact or marketing consent at any time by emailing us, replying STOP to a text message, or asking the representative who contacts you to close your file.

Credit inquiries

Submitting this request does not by itself trigger a soft or hard credit inquiry. Any credit inquiry requires your separate authorization and is performed by the financing provider, not by this website.

Data security and retention

Requests are transmitted over current TLS encryption and stored using our hosting and database provider's encryption at rest. Access to stored requests requires authentication and a role assigned by an administrator, and every dashboard request is authorized on the server. We do not claim bank-level security.

We retain request records and their associated consent evidence for 36 months after the last activity on the file, so that we can answer questions about a past request and evidence the consent we relied on. Records subject to a legal hold, an audit, a dispute or a longer statutory requirement are retained until that requirement ends, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Attribution identifiers expire on the cookie schedule described above.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of your information, a portable copy of it, and to opt out of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise a right, email [email protected] or call 888-629-3416 with enough detail for us to locate your request, such as the business name and the reference ID you received. We will verify that the request comes from you or an authorized agent before acting on it, and we will respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time. Exercising a right will never result in discriminatory treatment.

If we decline your request you may appeal by replying to our response with the word "appeal" and the reason. We will review the appeal and give you a written decision. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
